Bravofly informs all of its clients that SkyEurope, the low cost airline company, declared bankruptcy on August 31st, 2009. All SkyEurope flights have immediately been suspended. The airline company has also said that people that remained grounded will not be refunded.

Bravofly will protect the interests of all its clients that have booked flights with SkyEurope; in previous cases, Bravofly's intervention allowed its clients to obtain the amount that they were due.

SkyEurope
Airlines, founded in 2001, was the most important and largest low cost airline in Central Europe: it had five bases in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia.

On the 27th of September 2006, SkyEurope became the first and only airline in Central and Eastern Europe to be publicly quoted on the Stock Exchange in Vienna and Warsaw.
